ASKA® will collaborate with East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and propose premium tourism in Japan using the ASKA™ A5, a roadable hybrid-electric VTOL. As part of this collaboration, a one-third-size model of the ASKA A5 was exhibited at TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY, on March 27th, 2025 in Tokyo. ASKA and JR East also presented a video envisioning the future of tourism with the ASKA A5, highlighting the potential to transform travel in Japan.
ASKA and JR East will further explore the possibilities for implementing ASKA A5 in society, while aiming to realize sustainable urban development and tourism services using next-generation mobility.
TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY is a large-scale urban development project in Tokyo that integrates state-of-the-art technology, sustainable architecture, and cultural heritage.
